If you've ever been through Mănăștur, chances are you've already seen Calvary Church on a hill. But did you know it's been there for almost a thousand years? The Roman Catholic Church is actually called the Church of the Benedictine Abbey and although it has been part of the Mănăștur landscape for so long that it is almost ignored, it has an important historical and architectural significance. Or if you are simply interested in finding an oasis of greenery and tranquility, the green area around it is perfect for that.

Fun Facts: The two hills on which the church is built on are artificial, but they give you an excellent view of Mănăștur.
